James Hendershot Follows Man’s Fight for Justice in New Book
(PRWEB) June 20, 2014 -- Author James Hendershot transports readers to a fantastical world and tells a story of one man’s search for the truth in his new fantasy novel, “Search for Wise Wolf: Ráðúlfr” (published by Trafford Publishing).
This adventure unfolds in the year 1000 on the distant planet of Lamenta in the small village of Petenka. The villagers survive on game captured by their hunters and only choose the strongest young men for this task, bullying those they perceive as weak.
The Pawka family is a victim of this bullying, and the story centers on the adventures of Yakov Pawka and his sister, Olimpia, who becomes a maternal figure to her brothers in the wake of their mother’s death.
After a series of atrocities, Yakov and Olimpia finally arrive in the land of the Gerben, where Yakov discovers his life's purpose: he must journey into the dangerous lands of the Cvetka, where their queen is living with a pack of wild wolves. Now known as Wise Wolf, the queen reveals the hidden wisdom locked in her soul to Yakov as they travel the seas and mountains to her former kingdom.
“Love, sacrifice, endurance, and building relationships and holding to the faith for a better tomorrow are relevant during any age on any world,” says Hendershot. “Wise Wolf and Yakov prove that who we are is more important that what we were.”
