San Diego, CA (PRWEB) November 06, 2014
JAMIS Software Corporation, a leading provider of ERP software solutions designed specifically for government contractors and other project-focused organizations, recently held its most successful customer event ever. The 2014 JAMIS Summit was held October 19-22 at San Diego’s Town & Country Resort & Convention Center. Sponsors included Wells Fargo Capital Finance, Federal Publications Seminars, MGO Mensch, Arviso Inc., Professional Services Council (PSC), the Native American Contractors Association (NACA) Capital Edge Consulting and Cherry Bekaert.
JAMIS Summit 2014 brought together customers, industry experts and partners from across the nation to exchange invaluable knowledge and insights. During the Summit, JAMIS introduced the newest version of JAMIS Prime ERP, the most advanced product of its kind in the industry. Training and presentations focused on all JAMIS applications as well as educational industry-related topics. New this year, Summit attendees had the opportunity to earn continuing professional education (CPE) credits. JAMIS will also be offering continuing opportunities for training and CPE credits via the new web-based JAMIS Learning & Development Center (email JAMIS at info(at)jamis(dot)com for more info).
As part of an initiative to make the event more convenient for attendees, each attendee received a tablet preloaded with all course details and programs. All conference activity—including course presentations—was updated on the tablets as the event progressed.
JAMIS Summit 2014 also offered valuable perspectives from industry experts, such as keynote speaker Alan L. Chvotkin, Executive VP and Counsel of the Professional Services Council, the principal national trade association of the government professional and technical services industry. In addition, a panel of experts that included government contracting industry professionals from across the nation discussed current events in the government contractor community with an open and interactive Q&A forum.
“The JAMIS Summit has become an essential event for anyone who wants to stay current in the government contracting industry,” said JAMIS Software president, Jeff Noolas as the Summit came to a close. “Each year, attendees tell us that they have gained insights and experiences that are not available in any other forum.”
