Author Janet Bray Rubert Pens Moving Story Expressing Hope
Longview, Wash. (PRWEB) November 15, 2013 -- Since she was in second grade, author Janet Bray Rubert has been highly passionate about writing. Writing fiction was an avenue to express her sorrows, joys and personal beliefs. “’Til Summer’s End” (published by AuthorHouse) is her avenue for expressing a message of hope and love.
Upon learning of the pregnancy, the professor retreats into unexplained silence, avoiding both wife and child with late-night work and weekend field trips. Hurt, confused, and feeling hopeless, his young wife moves to Seattle to attain her doctorate in ethnomusicology. While in Ghana to document work songs for her dissertation she becomes mysteriously ill and her four-year-old asks to see her father. Not until then does her husband reveal his past and try to win them back.
“Where there is love, there is hope; where there is faith, there is resolution,” says Rubert. “Each of us is unique and has the capacity to confront and conquer our demons. This book reveals how our lives intertwine with one another, affecting the choices we make and the capability to reach out to others.”
