In “Tennessee Tremors,” Troy, the new engineer in charge of building a huge industrial plant in Dyersburg, Tenn., disappears. The head of the Chamber of Commerce, Barbara, and a local detective, Jack, work together to unravel the mystery.
Barbara and Jack’s close working conditions lead to romance as they uncover plots of grave misdeeds, lies and bribery. A surprise denouement revealing Troy’s condition and whereabouts will keep readers engaged through the very last page.
Smolders hopes readers will heed his message that corruption does not pay off in the long run and that they will enjoy the fun romance interlacing the story.
