Cutting-edge Jewelry Designer, Jason McLeod, Launches a New Website with Product Customization at the Helm
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 10, 2013 -- Jason McLeod, an ingenious designer based out of Charlottesville, Virginia, has launched a new website for his futuristic contemporary jewelry, with his popular Time Traveler collection at the center of it all. McLeod earned a B.A in Political Science, then became a rock star musician before a career as one of the nation’s leading up-and-coming jewelry designers came upon him. A self-taught gold and silversmith, McLeod has been making jewelry since 2005, after two consecutive car accidents left him nearly paralyzed. Unable to leave his house and work, he drew inspiration from his mother-in-law’s George Jensen and Meissen pieces, deciding to work with the two things available to him: his brain and his hands. His intricate designs keep clients coming back for more with endless customization possibilities that do not primarily center around birthstones, which is refreshing and welcome in the trade.
His new website is sleek and simple; even the not-so-tech-savvy person can navigate and enjoy the scroll. There are two search options to use, a search by “collections” and a search by “pieces.” A wide range of jewelry is offered, from earrings and rings and everything in between. Science and attention to detail is signature of McLeod’s work, and each piece of jewelry is one-of-a-kind. Current collections featured on the site include Time Traveler, Shadowbox and Bubbles.
Jason McLeod’s claim to fame rests in his remarkable Time Traveler collection, which began with the development of his Time Traveler Cuff. Each piece can be customized to include dates, addresses, names, GPS, longitude/latitude coordinates, mathematical formulas, star charts, circuits and codes. The design options are endless, which allow both the designer and the consumer to have a unique experience in the creation process. McLeod has even created his own constellation, “Maximilian’ for the collection.
Regarding the launch of his redesigned website, McLeod says, “I am really psyched. It allows us to have a greater connectivity with our customers. I mean, this is really what it is all about—I love being able to share what I create with my customer base and the new website allows me to grow my audience to both national and international markets. I’m totally stoked about it.”
