Picture Book About the Journey of a Fish Across the Ocean Launched
BRADFORD, Pa. (PRWEB) February 26, 2014 -- With the exception of a few rare hermits, most people would want to have friends and belong to a particular group. Young people are most especially preoccupied with the idea of belonging; the manifestations of that take form in groups, gangs, cliques, clubs, and other forms of organizations. Jason Fetterman writes a children’s picture book to demonstrate this need to be part of a bigger group, titled PETEY.
This is the story of one of the nicest fishes in the ocean, Petey. He is on a journey looking for some friends and a place where he belongs. Will he find what he is looking for? Young readers are encouraged to find out.
PETEY is for beginning readers who are relatively adept in their ABCs and are ready for a good story. The illustrations are simple but very expressive, providing children the visualization they need to follow Petey’s tale as he seeks for acceptance and belongingness.
