21st Annual Jazz in the Pines Highlights Luxury Homes

The 21st Annual Jazz in the Pines Festival will kick off on Friday night, August 15, with the Patron’s Dinner Dance, reserved for special ticket holders only. This will include a fabulous evening filled with food, fine wine and the cool jazz sounds of Ruby and the Red Hots at the French Quarter. On Saturday and Sunday gates to the Jazz in the Pines Concert Pavilion will open at 10 AM with popular names such as The Straight Jackets and Paul Carman’s Quartet Plus One filling the cool and clean-air of the mountains with sizzling jazz starting at 10:30 AM.
Schmett remarked that, “With three live stages going simultaneously this is one of the premier jazz events of the summer. Tickets purchased in advance of the event are $55 with prices slightly higher at the gate. Proceeds will benefit scholarships to the Idyllwild Jazz Arts Academy and summer program.
