J. D. Boyd marks his debut in the literary limelight with a new novel featuring the one-of-a-kind journey of “The Marshall Minister” (published by iUniverse). Enthralling, evocative and entertaining, this tale depicts the thrilling life of the man with the similar abilities and mission of God.
God chose someone to clean up the earth before he sent his son, Jesus Christ. And one man is blessed to receive this significant mission – a tired, old truck driver that loves the Lord more than his own brothers. Just like the Scriptures of old, God sends his chosen and gives him a name that will be respected in the ages. He is the Marshall Minister, the law man with no-nonsense in the ability of God.
“People need someone to clean up the United States before God has to send his son. Because if he had to send his son, it is too late for the whole world,” Boyd shares. “I want readers to know their personal responsibility and have common sense. And learn that there is an action to every reaction. If it is not on earth, it will be in heaven.”
A snippet from “The Marshall Minister” reads:
Out of my rage, I have committed sin in the eyes of the father. I have to stand before Jesus and except my punishment for my sin.
And the president said, I did not see any sin tonight. Except for my men. I seen the retribution of sin.
Don’t you understand that Pres. Hayes? The retribution is sin. I have sent the innocence to hell. My job is that pour, it has retributions, if it is not done correctly.
I let my anger and my rage interfere with my judgment and that’s where I sinned.
