Compton, California (PRWEB) December 18, 2013
4 Wheel Parts, prominent retailer of aftermarket parts for off-roading, is holding a holiday toy drive to benefit the children of Loma Linda Hospital. When customers bring an unwrapped toy to a Southern California participating 4 Wheel Parts location, they receive a raffle ticket to enter to win prizes. The prizes awarded are a replicated Greg Adler 4 Wheel Parts Traxxas RC car or a Brooke Kawell SC 10RC car.
4 Wheel Parts stores throughout Southern California are participating in the seasonal toy drive. This month, in-store customers have stepped up and are showing up at the locations with unwrapped toys to help the cause.
“The Redondo Beach 4 Wheel Parts store is involved in the toy drive and customers have been great about dropping off unwrapped toys to enter the raffle,” says Redondo Beach store manager Nick Gulalo. “People here understand the positive impact Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital has on the Southern California area and want to help the effort.”
Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUMC) functions as the only children’s hospital for over one million Californians and serves the youth of San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo counties. Designated as a Level 1 trauma center, LLUMC provides premium trauma care for Inland Empire children.
The giveaways for winners are radio controlled cars associated with off-road racers Greg Adler and Brooke Kawell. The pre-applied, black and silver paint scheme of Greg Adler #10 radio controlled car comes ready to install, and there is a set of body trim decals to apply.
4 Wheel Parts partner store, 4Wheel Drive Hardware, is participating in various charitable causes and events during the holidays. These include donating gift certificates, Jeep parts, and stickers to club gatherings. In 2013, 4WD’s charitable donations have topped $15,000.
The 4 Wheel Parts toy drive will collect toys until December 20.
