C Spire Wireless is recognized by InformationWeek for their second consecutive year on the InformationWeek 500 list of the nations top tech innovators, according to their press release on BusinessWire, dated Sept 9.

The C Spire release says, “Every enterprise is now a digital business – or needs to become one fast.”

“Nothing could be more true. The pace of digital innovation and invention is quicker than ever. It looks much different than years past. To succeed today, companies need to embrace this new level and look for sectors to win in.” Says Technology industry analyst Jeff Kagan.

“C Spire PERCS loyalty and reward program has been in the market for two years and seems to be a big success. Customers like choosing their own rewards. Carriers must come up with a way to keep customers satisfied and on board.” Says Tech analyst Jeff Kagan.

“PERCS does this for C Spire Wireless. This PERCS program was the first loyalty and rewards program in the wireless space. Two years ago C Spire wanted to increase loyalty among customers and developed the first rewards program in the industry calling it PERCS. This was unusual at the time, but has proved to be a success for C Spire,” says Principal analyst Kagan.

“The C Spire customers I have talked with say they are very happy with the service and like and use the PERCS rewards program. This illustrates that focusing on the customer can offer real results for a company,” says Kagan.

Today nearly 40 percent of C Spire customers are members of the rewards program. They earn more than 300 million PERC reward points, which include over 100,000 non-customers who are engaging with C Spire and their brand. More than 520,000 rewards and more than 750,000 PERCS points have been given as gifts to selected, community non-profit charities including the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.

The release says, PERCS has been a chief contributor in helping C Spire achieve the best customer retention rate in company history and one of the best in the US wireless industry.

“Congratulations to C Spire on developing this PERCS program which has turned into a big success. Taking care of the customer is always the best way to run and grow a business,” says Kagan.

InformationWeek identifies and honors the nation’s most innovative users of information technology with its annual 500 listing.
