Industry Analyst Jeff Kagan on Best Gulf Coast Wireless: Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, C-Spire
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 13, 2014 -- OpenSignal collects billions of cell signals from across the country and ranks coverage, speed and reliability of wireless networks. They say the best quality wireless service in the Gulf Coast is provided by Verizon Wireless, AT&T Mobility, Sprint and C-Spire Wireless. OpenSignal also says T-Mobile is a distant fourth of the big four carriers, according to News 5 WKRG on June 11.
Industry analyst Jeff Kagan offers comment.
“These tests are important comparisons from network to network. They let users choose the best carrier for them. They look at signal quality down to the section of the city that you live. That is very helpful,” says Wireless Analyst Jeff Kagan.
“However it’s important to realize that while you need strong signal where you live, you also need strong signal where you work, shop and spend time. So don’t solely rely on these kind of tests. Test for yourself to be sure,” says Technology analyst Kagan.
One, in the test of the Gulf Coast region, four carriers came out on top, all having great quality, speed, coverage and reliability. These are Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and C Spire Wireless.
Two, when evaluating just on 4G LTE network speed, AT&T is the fastest on the Gulf Coast with the highest average download speed.
Three, the study also said C-Spire has excellent scores, coming in not too far behind Verizon, along with AT&T and Sprint.
“This means customers in the Gulf Coast area are in great shape. They have several, great quality wireless carriers to choose from. So the choice is up to the customer. They can either do business with one of the national brands, or their regional brand. Either way the average customer on any of these top networks should be very happy. Just remember to check coverage where you spend time to make sure,” says Tech analyst Kagan.
