'Sprint Framily Switching Bonus aims to win new customers,' says Technology Industry Analyst Jeff Kagan.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 06, 2014
Sprint announced their offer to pay new customers to switch to them with their Sprint Framily Switching Bonus through May 8, says PC Magazine, Apr. 4.
Industry analyst Jeff Kagan offers comment.
“While Sprint is busy reinventing themselves and their network, they are turning up the heat for a few weeks with their offer to pay customers to leave competitors and come to them,” says Tech analyst Jeff Kagan.
“This is a way for Sprint to win a burst of new customers. This is about Sprint covering the cancellation charges imposed by all carriers. This is for customers, who want to switch to Sprint, but who don’t because they don’t want to pay cancellation charges. Those customers can now switch to Sprint because they will pay cancellation charges,” says Wireless analyst Kagan.
Make sure you do everything the right way and in the right order. Find out from your carrier how to cancel and what charges you will pay. Find out from Sprint how to take advantage of their offer and how much they will pay. Then find out what order to do things in so you can keep your wireless phone number.
“If you do things in the wrong order, you can easily lose your phone number. So if you want to keep your phone number, make sure you do things in the right order,” says Principal analyst Kagan.
“This deal may only be available until May 8, so if you want to switch to Sprint I wouldn’t wait because it might just disappear,” says Kagan.
