Jeri Mulrow Joins Westat as Vice President and Director of Statistical Sciences
ROCKVILLE, Md. (PRWEB) February 06, 2019 -- Westat is pleased to announce that Jeri Mulrow has joined the company as Vice President and Director of Statistical Sciences, leading Westat’s staff of 80+ statisticians. She takes over this position from David Morganstein who, over his 35-year tenure, has significantly enhanced Westat’s statistical strengths and reputation. Ms. Mulrow brings 30+ years of experience as an applied mathematical statistician working in government, industry, and academia.
Most recently, Ms. Mulrow served as the Principal Deputy Director for the Bureau of Justice Statistics in the U.S. Department of Justice. She provided leadership and oversight on the design, collection, analysis, and dissemination of data on the U.S. justice system. Previously, she was the Deputy Division Director for the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics at the National Science Foundation.
Ms. Mulrow is an active member and Fellow of the American Statistical Association, serving on its Board and as the Association’s Vice President in recent years.
