Miami-based JetStream Federal Credit Union announces CEO Jeanne Kucey’s attendance at the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Conference, where she will be presenting to industry leaders on banking and underserved populations. This year's “All-In on DEI & ACCESS” summit will take place on November 2-4, 2022. In addition to covering diversity, equality, and inclusion, the conference will further NCUA’s initiative for “advancing communities through credit, education, stability, and support.”

Ms. Kucey will speak on Thursday, November 3, 2022 as part of the fireside chat, “Helping the Unbanked and Underbanked Populations Build Credit,” from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. EST.

The third annual event brings together subject matter experts, credit union leaders, and other stakeholders to discuss crucial subjects impacting members of the National Credit Union Administration. This year, the summit will cover the value of diversity, equity, and inclusion for credit unions, discuss solutions to industry-specific challenges, and encourage financial inclusion practices.

“Participating in the third annual NCUA conference aligns with JetStream's goals,” said Jeanne Kucey, CEO of JetStream Federal Credit Union. “We represent one of the most diverse communities – from our members and community partners to our staff – and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to share our experiences with attendees.”

Ms. Kucey regularly speaks about the value of credit unions and has extensive experience serving as a volunteer for both for-profit and non-profit organizations. She has also served on the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Union’s Board of Directors for nine years.

“This is an exciting opportunity for JetStream,” added Ms. Kucey. “We have extensive experience assisting underserved communities and look forward to sharing our experience to help credit union industry stakeholders and operators.”
