Jigsaw Academy adds yet another course to it's offerings. This course called 'VBA For Reporting And Analytics' explains the powerful VBA programming functionality of Excel used to build interactive dashboards and reports while also teaching how to implement statistical models, generate reports with shorter turnaround time and how to make your worksheets turn into widgets.

Jigsaw Academy, the renowned online Analytics and Big Data Training Academy has recently launched a new Advanced Analytics Course. The course titled 'VBA For Reporting And Analytics' teaches how to use the VBA programming functionality of Excel effectively and how to build decision support systems. Participants will also learn how to get data into excel from various places & formats ( i.e. relational databases, flat files (csv, txt)) and how to create Excel Add-Ins and User defined functions.

Participants will get access to about 11 hours of pre-recorded video lectures. The videos can be viewed at any time and as many times as the participant wants for a period of 4 months.

Participants are also given access to Jigsaw Academy's virtual lab -- a unique cloud-based solution to providing the lab experience where they will be able to work on real life business datasets, for a period of 4 months.

4. Programming in VBA

There will also be three case studies that explain how to build a regression tool, simulation in Excel and querying using Excel.

The pre-requisites for the course are Knowledge of Excel- Formulas, Charts, Pivots and Knowledge of data manipulation techniques. It is also recommended that participants have exposure to basic SQL language and programming concepts in any language like SAS, R and Java.

The VBA course is priced at Rs. 20,000 (Indian students) and $500 (Foreign students-Outside India). However as an introductory offer the course can now be purchased for Rs. 15,000 (Indian students) and $375 (Foreign students-Outside India).
