Set for a new marketing campaign, the book tells the story of Morgan and Parker, two young detectives hired by the countess’ butler to rescue her, as a band of pirates held her captive on a ship. Captain Fox wanted to find out where she hides her secret cookie recipe. Soon, the two detectives take over the ship and their adventure begins.
This adventure takes the young detectives all around the world. Filled with colorful illustrations, most of the characters presented in the book are of the animal kingdom including the pirates.
“The overall theme of this book is all about beating the bad guys and having a good day,” Hummel says. “Through this story, I want to teach readers how to be strong no matter how small they are.”
