Five Star Professional partners with Los Angeles magazine to recognize a select group of Los Angeles-area wealth managers who provide quality services to their clients. John Tan is featured, along with other award winners, in a special section of the January issue.
“I would like to thank all of my clients for placing their trust and confidence in me in managing their assets. And with their trust and confidence, they continue to refer their friends, family and colleagues to me, for which I am very humbled and grateful,” stated John Tan.
The Five Star Wealth Manager award program is the largest and most widely published wealth manager award program in the financial services industry. The award is based on a rigorous, multifaceted research methodology, which incorporates input from peers and firm leaders along with client retention rates, industry experience and a thorough regulatory history review.
“The research behind this award is extensive with each wealth manager being thoroughly vetted from numerous angles. We are proud to showcase these distinguished professionals,” stated Jonathan Wesser, Research Director, Five Star Professional.
When asked why he became a wealth manager, John Tan replied, “Growing up, my parents taught me the value of what’s right and wrong. After some family members were victimized financially, I changed my career path to work in the securities industry and to have the integrity, respect, and honor that many like my family members seek. I’ve made this a code to live by and continue to run my practice guided by these three traits.”
