MINNEAPOLIS, March 29, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Following Governor Tim Walz's "Stay at Home" order effective Friday, March 27 at 11:59pm to Friday, April 10 for Minnesota businesses, Johnstech International has reviewed its status with its attorney and has been deemed to qualify as a critical manufacturer / essential business that is entitled to continue operations as normal. Furthermore, Johnstech has reviewed the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Services Agency ("CISA") Memorandum on Identification of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers During Covid–19 Response with its attorney and has been deemed to qualify as an essential business operation under multiple criteria. Johnstech International is a key supplier to semiconductor companies across many essential industries including medical device, communications, and critical infrastructure. Johnstech has been ramping up production capacity at its Minneapolis, Minnesota headquarters for weeks in response to increased demand from its customers who provide semiconductor chips used in critical medical devices and communications infrastructure.
