Join Highstreet, Oracle Platinum Partner at the Alliance Conference 2019
Rockville (PRWEB) February 21, 2019 -- Highstreet, an Oracle Platinum Partner, will be presenting a conference session with their customer San Joaquin Delta College (SJDC) at the Alliance Conference 2019 taking place in Orlando, Florida March 3-6.
Over the last year, Highstreet has taken a leadership position in implementing Oracle Cloud Applications for Higher Education clients and has successfully worked with several institutions to move their on-premise ERP and HCM applications to the Cloud.
“Organizations may know us for our PeopleSoft or Oracle EBS upgrades and implementations, but it’s our expertise with these legacy systems combined with decades of Higher Education industry experience that make us most qualified to help Higher Education institutions with their Cloud strategy. Whether it be a full “lift and shift” to the Cloud or a hybrid solution, we can help,” states Henry Tran, Highstreet Executive Vice President and Practice Lead.
Highstreet would like to invite organizations attending the conference to our session “Getting your head in the Cloud while keeping your feet on the ground” taking place on Monday, March 04, 2019 (03:45 PM – 04:45 PM in the Walt Disney World SWAN – Parrot Room). Representatives from our client, San Joaquin Delta College (SJDC), will share their experiences and what lead them to a successful implementation of Release 12 of Oracle Cloud applications for Finance, Procurement, and Planning and Budgeting, followed by an upgrade to R13 and the successful implementation of Oracle Cloud HCM, Performance and Learn.
Highstreet worked with Delta College to develop a comprehensive strategy to transform, integrate, and streamline core financial and procurement processes. This was the first step for Delta as part of their application transformation plan. Delta expects to improve its ability to deliver services, providing transparency to financial transactions, and reducing operational cost using modern technology.
Session attendees will learn what important actions SJDC took, things they wish they had done, and the most critical challenges they faced and are still overcoming as a public college implementing a Cloud enterprise solution. Learn about SJDC’s selection process and working with implementation partners, implementing a phased approach, integrations, appropriate post-go-live support, organization and workforce impacts, behavior changes, and ongoing challenges.
“With external competition for in-house resources increasing, Higher Education institutions are recognizing the need for software as a service hosted solutions. In addition to reducing the need for typical on-premise server and software administration, a migration to the cloud allows institutions to better focus on their core business while providing a better service to students, faculty, and staff,” concluded Henry Tran, Highstreet Executive Vice President and Practice Lead.
