Jonathan Perkins Accepts Yale Law School Invitation to Judge Prestigious Mock Trial Competition
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (PRWEB) March 13, 2014 -- Jonathan Perkins, Connecticut auto accident attorney, has been asked to judge the annual Thomas Swan Barristers’ Union mock trial to be held in March by Yale Law School.
The Barristers’ Union mock trial helps students hone their trial advocacy skills. Consistently ranked as one of the top law schools in the country and rated the number one law school of 2014 by a Feb. 22, 2013 U.S. News report, Yale Law School provides law students with the opportunity to experience a simulated trail experience in both an intramural and national competition.
The mock trial requires participants prepare witnesses, perform cross and direct examinations, and write and perform pre-trial motions as well as closing arguments. Culminating in the National Trial Competition, the Barristers’ Union mock trial gives students the opportunity to compete against some of the nations’ top law students.
“Utilizing the skills they’ve been building in a competitive educational setting is going to have a very positive impact on students’ future careers,” Perkins said.
Perkins and his firm, Jonathan Perkins Injury Lawyers, are honored to be a part of Yale’s time honored tradition.
