Joseph Nassar joins MAC Group as Saramonic Brand Manager
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (PRWEB) September 11, 2018 -- Joe started out in the record store industry at 16 and at age 18 became the youngest manager in the history of the Kemp Mill Records chain. He then moved to NYC and 3 months later at age 22 became a co-owner of Temple Records NYC, a world-famous specialty vinyl underground dance record shop featured in national and international publications such as SPIN, Village Voice, DJ Magazine and others.
During this time, he produced many club nights and raves in NYC and the Southeast as well as cultivated an international DJ following.
After selling the record store, he moved to LA to work as a Sound Engineer, Sound Editor and Sound Effects Designer for multi-Oscar winning Apocalypse Sound/Creative Cafe.
After stints in the professional audio sales world at Guitar Center Hollywood and Sam Ash Music, he spent the last 13 years at B&H in the Video & Pro Audio Category growing his knowledge even further as he helped Pros and Amateurs with their ofttimes complex audio needs.
“Joseph’s love for all things audio is evident as is vast category knowledge and his enthusiasm for educating people on how much quality audio enhances a story. We can’t wait to see what he’ll accomplish with Saramonic,” said Jan Lederman, MAC Group President.
