Lamenting the fact that people rely too much on noisy, polluting cars in numbers that are way above the traffic capacity of the streets in about all cities, practically eliminating the safe use of bicycles on those streets. The bicycles are delighted that one engineer’s efforts to promote a real solution will create real peace between cars and bicycles. This solution is based on creating a network of expressways exclusively for bicycles, elevated at about 5 meters above the street level, covered and at level or downhill only, as uphill differences in elevation will be taken by escalators. In these conditions an accident between cars and bicycles so many times fatal for cyclist will be practically impossible .
These fascinating details about the concept prompted a bicycle at the first reunion to call it a New Fatherland for bicycles.
In all three reunions the bicycles expressed their opinions on many aspects of human nature, from art to religion, to political systems, to the economy, to bullfighting, from the negative side of competition to the crazy useless everyday and every place advertising.
