Samples shares of his personal story, “A 17 1/2-year army career down the tubes due to injury. His wife of twelve years with all types of medical issues was now smoking crack cocaine and very quickly decides to leave and take their two preteen daughters. With his life falling apart, ending it became a possibility until God put a nurse in his path that led him to the cross. Once introduced to good news, a fire is set, and he determines to find the God who created him.
“Every day, he reads his Bible and talks with the Lord until one day, the Lord told him to resign his job of nine years and go to Denver, Colorado. He did, and all along the way, he had encounters and special moments with the creator. Time with the Father is a collection of writings from his experiences with God.”
