Author Kenneth Brown Releases First Book ‘Keepers of the BOND’
TYLER, Texas (PRWEB) January 26, 2014 -- In his debut book “Keepers of the BOND: Book I” (published by iUniverse) author Kenneth Brown retells the story of real people and their experiences. History, he believes, when looked at through the eyes of the people who lived it, is often different from what has been believed for ages.
Inspired by the stories his grandfather told him over several years, “Keepers of the BOND” is Brown’s first book of a trilogy that aims to bring to light the way truth has been distorted for ages by men of power having selfish agendas. The book tells the story of Jeb McCloud and Jo Johnsen, adopted by a French professor named Jean D. Lafitte, and of his extended circle of friends and kin – the BOND. The mystery of BOND is unraveled as the plot unfolds. Brown urges his readers to seek knowledge, pray for wisdom and hold powerful men like politicians responsible for their actions. “Knowledge without wisdom is very dangerous or worse,” says Brown.
“Keepers of the BOND” is set in locales as varied as Texas, Louisiana, Germany, France, Southeast Asia, China, Japan, Thailand and South Pacific, and the characters based on real people. True to the spirit of its author, the book piques the interest of anyone who has an unquenchable thirst for truth.
