Patient Satisfaction and Community Involvement Help Lake Meridian Chiropractic of Kent, WA Earn “Best of Kent” Finalist Award for 2014
Kent, WA (PRWEB) June 19, 2014 -- Over the years, the annual “Best of Kent” competition has become a springtime tradition in this King County community, where the Kent Reporter invites the city’s 125,000 residents to cast votes for their favorite local businesses in several different categories. After being chosen as a Finalist in 2013, chiropractor Danene Saggau and her team are thrilled that Lake Meridian Chiropractic has made it into the “Top Five” again this year and are truly grateful for the support of all the clinic’s patients. “Being recognized as a Best of Kent Readers’ Favorite says a lot about the special relationships we have with our patients. With more than 100 chiropractic clinics in the area, it’s a real honor to be named a Finalist.”
While Dr. Saggau will be proud to put the Best of Kent plaque on display at Lake Meridian Chiropractic, she’s quick to put the award in perspective. “At the end of the day, it’s not recognition like this that really motivates us. The patients do—they’re what matter most. Their stories remind us why we do what we do. First and foremost, patients are happy with the pain relief we provide—after all, that’s what many of them come to us for in the first place! But they also love that the techniques we use are so easy and gentle (no twisting and popping) and yet make such an impact on how they feel.” She continues, “They’re excited to get their lives back and do the things they love to do again. Patients comment about what a great experience they have in our office. They can tell that we’re patient-centered and that we genuinely care about them.”
Lake Meridian Chiropractic’s strong clinical reputation and commitment to its patients have helped the practice grow over the years, and this past year was no exception. With more professional referrals from local medical doctors, neurologists, and osteopathic doctors, as well as more patient referrals, Dr. Saggau estimates that the number of new patients and the number of total patient visits have each grown by nearly 20%.
“Since receiving our last Best of Kent award, we’ve continued to make changes in the clinic that help us serve our patients even more effectively,” says Dr. Saggau as she reflects on the last 12 months. “We don’t stand still. We’ve welcomed a new doctor, Dr. Lisa Kim, to the practice and made several investments in new equipment, including another cold laser unit and another G5 therapy unit.” These types of changes have allowed the clinic to serve more patients while also maintaining or improving the standard of care as well as the patient experience.

Dr. Danene Saggau is the founder of Lake Meridian Chiropractic in Kent, WA. She is a Doctor of Chiropractic and Board Certified Atlas Orthogonalist. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and her doctoral studies at Northwestern College of Chiropractic.
