Despite all this suffering the author was slowly mended by God’s unending love.

A multitude of emotionally broken people constantly wander the earth. These broken individuals could be one’s friends and neighbors and sadly most people would seem oblivious to this fact. In “JESUS NEVER WASTES PAIN” the author Keturah Martin has written an eye-opening and inspiring book that shows the immense physical and emotional pain she has suffered through her life and how Jesus Christ the great Physician was able to mend her wounds.

“JESUS NEVER WASTES PAIN” is the author’s heart wrenching account of 30 years of physical and emotional suffering. It shows how the author was a victim of abuse since she was a child and to further compound the matters of life and survival the author also suffered from Epilepsy which in turn produced a massive 24/7 depression due to the scar tissue located on the right temporal lobe and mood centre. This alone resulted in additional spiritual abuse and unfathomed rejection for years. She experienced three to twenty seizures per day when on medication. And yet despite all this suffering the author was slowly mended by God’s unending love. This inspiring memoir shows readers that God is a constant part of one’s life.

This engrossing book of fortitude and courage in the face of pain and depression was passionately written by the author to show readers that Jesus will never waste the pain of an abuse survivor or anyone else in pain if one is willing to surrender that inner anguish and destruction into His divine hand. Despite all the demolition left behind in the aftermath of abuse, there is hope in the darkness, diamonds in the tears, eternal gain in the pain and freedom from the slavery of bitterness and oppression. There is absolutely nothing that is too hard for Jesus to fix and restore.

About the Author

Keturah C. Martin was raised in the Canadian Rockies in a conservative Mennonite setting with a large family and wonderful parents who tried their very best despite the circumstances. She was told in 1996 by a diagnosing physician (Trauma Specialist) that she was the most damaged individual he had ever seen in all his years of experience. Thankfully she was not too destroyed for God despite the SRA abuse she was forced through at the point of death and the diagnosis of PTSD and D.I.D. which is often harshly misunderstood. She is a single mom of four children who suffered and survived extreme measures of DV, but is alive to share hope with the bruised and brokenhearted - because of Jesus.
