Aequitas Automotive announce new Key Insurance product for Shortfall.co.uk brand in the UK
Wirral, UK (PRWEB UK) 20 August 2013 -- Aequitas Automotive have confirmed details of a new Key Insurance product now available in the UK. The company behind the established Easy Gap and GapInsurance123 brands for Motor Gap Insurance, have now provided a new range of products on the Shortfall.co.uk website.
One of the new products in particular is Key Insurance. Aequitas Automotive say this simple product could provide invaluable protection to UK households, as Company Director Mark Griffiths explained.
"Key Insurance is designed to cover the costs of key and locksmith charges, should your keys be damaged accidentally, stolen or lost. The cost of replacing car keys, with alarms and immobilisers can run to hundreds of pounds. Of course there may be house keys attached also, and this can mean the replacement of locks if a security risk is highlighted."
"The overall cost of losing a bunch of keys can run over a thousand pounds, as well as being extremely inconvenient."
"Aequitas Automotive has looked at designing a new Key Insurance product that is both simple and extremely good value. Having looked at other products around, we could see the potential interest in the cover, but felt that some products were perhaps a little complicated."
"The Shortfall Key Insurance product can provide, for a single annual premium of £19.95, up to £1500 worth of cover for key and locksmith charges, for keys belonging to the policyholder, or any family member living at the same address. We can also provide for the costs of car hire and onward travel, and the keys covered are both motor and household."
"Perhaps the 'key' feature also, if you excuse the very poor pun, if that unlike many other products we looked at, the keys do not have to be attached to a fob we supply. This is often the case with other products, and if you want more bunches of keys covered then you need to buy more fobs."
"The Shortfall Key Insurance product covers the Policyholder and their household, not the fob they are provided with."
"Aequitas Automotive believe the new Shortfall Key Insurance product offers possibly the very best value in the market today, and we have high hopes for its popularity amongst consumers in the UK."
Aequitas Automotive also confirmed that whilst the new Key Insurance product is currently only available on the Shortfall.co.uk website, that it will be offered to insurance intermediaries in the near future.
