Lawton Kia Excited to Carry First Eco Friendly Soul for 2015
Lawton, OK (PRWEB) September 30, 2014 -- Lawton Kia is excited to go green with the all-electric, zero-emissions 2015 Kia Soul EV. Fully-charged and ready to go, this environmentally friendly vehicle boasts a range of thrilling features. Slated for sale in October, this advanced, electric vehicle provides drivers with more than 93 miles of range.
The new 2015 Kia Soul EV features a 6.6 kW charger that maximizes throughput for faster charging and less waiting. Including a level 2 fast charger, the 260-volt lithium-ion polymer battery pack can be 80 percent in just 30 minutes. Charging should not be a hassle-- with three ways to charge, including standard DC Fast Charging, recharging at home, the office, and any of the thousands of public stations across the US.
Although electric, the new model remains essentially silent upon acceleration -- Soul’s motors use multilayer magnets to boost efficiency and reduce the engine whine. The Soul was described as “light and agile, a charmer to drive” by Blake Z. Rong, associate editor of Autoweek Magazine.
The electric component of the 2015 Kia Soul EV isn't the only thing that's "green" about the vehicle-- the interior makes use of reclaimed recycled materials for many of its interior parts. In addition, 52 pounds of "bio-based, organic" plastic is used in the composition of the carpeting, seat trim, headliner and door panels.
The 2015 Kia Soul EV takes “driving in style” to whole new level with a sharp look that builds on the unique dimensions and design of the Kia Soul. The Soul is, truly, in a class of its own, and boldly takes dynamic strides to save the environment in style.
