An infestation of bed bugs closed down a homeless shelter in California. In connection with it, My Cleaning Products gave out some tips to kill bed bugs early, effectively and safely to help the public prevent the same incident.

According to a report from dated November 26, 2013, the critters particularly penetrated the Street Reach homeless facility in Myrtle Beach, My Cleaning Products shared. And to get rid of them, it detailed that the facility had to close down on Tuesday night.

Additionally, the report related that New Directions, the organization that runs the shelter, also had to take extra steps to make sure the pests wouldn't return, MCP said. Particularly, it relayed, just as its executive director Kathy Jenkins stated, that they have to get new 150 mattresses. Moreover, it said that they also had to spend an amount for a storage shed for the visitors' belongings.
