Coles Miller Sponsors New Kingston Lacy Cycle Routes Hub
Wimborne, Dorset (PRWEB UK) 26 February 2014 -- Law firm Coles Miller is sponsoring a new hub for cyclists and walkers at the National Trust’s historic Kingston Lacy estate.
The new hub at Firs Barn will be a pit-stop for families enjoying the popular Dorset estate which has a network of traffic-free cycle routes running through its 8,500 acres.
Cyclists will benefit from facilities including air pumps and bike tools plus water points so they can top up their drinks bottles.
There will also be a picnic area so riders and hikers can rest their weary legs and enjoy the stunning scenery at this much-loved country estate.
Coles Miller Solicitors LLP has provided funding for the new facilities which are due to open to the public in the spring.
“We are delighted to support this wonderful project,” said Lee Taylor, Marketing Manager at Coles Miller, which last year expanded by opening a new office in nearby Wimborne.
“Kingston Lacy boasts 72 miles of footpaths and quiet country lanes that offer great days out for cyclists and hikers of all abilities.
“Cycling is a healthy way to explore the countryside and the new hub will make the estate with its iron age forts and ancient droveways even more accessible,” he added.
Rob Greenhalgh, Outdoor Experience Co-Ordinator at the National Trust said: “Coles Miller’s collaboration with the cycle hub project at Kingston Lacy has been hugely valuable both practically and financially.
“They were even able to send several staff members on a cold January day to work alongside us, get their hands dirty and help install the foundations of the hub.
“We truly value their support and enthusiasm for the project and hope together to open a new chapter with Kingston Lacy’s cycle offer,” he added.
