Glen Lerner Injury Attorneys Support Pahrump Kiwanis Food for Thought through Food Drive and VIP Rodeo Ticket Raffle Drawing
Pahrump, NV. (PRWEB) August 12, 2014 -- Glen Lerner Injury Attorneys creates a win-win situation that encourages more people to donate non-perishable food items to support Pahrump Kiwanis Food for Thought’s educational program. They have done this by hosting a raffle drawing in conjunction with a food drive. How it works: for each non-perishable food item a person donates now through September 17, 2014, that person will receive one raffle ticket for a chance to win one pair of VIP tickets (one pair = 2 tickets) to attend the Pahrump Fall Festival Rodeo’s Friday, September 26, 2014 performance. The law firm has two pairs of tickets to give away. Food items may be dropped off at Glen Lerner Injury Attorneys, Moose Lodge, and American First National Bank Pahrump locations during regular business hours.
“Many students in the Pahrump Valley are provided breakfast and lunch through Nye County School District’s free and reduced cost food program. Those two meals at school are often the only stable meals they receive throughout the week and over the weekend,” said Attorney Glen Lerner, founder of Glen Lerner Injury Attorneys. “Our local staff members found out about this need and had to do something to help. They came up with the raffle drawing as a way to help increase donations for the food drive and awareness about the needs of the Pahrump Kiwanis Food for Thought educational program.”
Non-perishable food items the program can continuously use, include: cereal, pop tarts, breakfast bars, canned items with easy to open pop tops like SPAM®, tuna, vienna sausages, soups, ravioli, spaghetti, fruit, vegetables, and other items such as raisins, pudding cups, bottled water, ramen noodles, and individually wrapped and full-size mac and cheese boxes.
