KnowledgeLake Organizational Changes Reflect Growth and Investment in Innovative Enterprise Solutions
St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) September 10, 2013 -- KnowledgeLake, the SharePoint ECM Company, is pleased to announce the addition of two new executive team positions. Ben Vierck has been promoted to the role of vice president of engineering and Rohit Puri has been promoted to the position of vice president of cloud platform, research and development.
"The appointment of these two individuals adds a significant amount of depth to our executive team. Ben and Rohit’s diverse backgrounds and ability to develop innovative products and solutions for continued growth and success, will bring the passion and energy needed to take our enterprise offerings to the next level," said Ron Cameron, president, KnowledgeLake.
In his new role as Vice President of Engineering, Vierck is responsible for leading the engineering team and spearheading the technical objectives of the company. Before joining KnowledgeLake in 2012, Vierck served as CTO at Devfarm Software, where he led the company through the development of three award-winning Workflow Authoring products. Previous to that, Vierck led a twenty person team at Quest Software (now Dell) developing award winning Foglight APM solutions. Vierck maintains deep ties at Microsoft where he started his career nearly twenty years ago as an Engineer on the Windows development team.
“We are at that point where we are selling solutions beyond the departmental level. This calls for bigger demands, as CTO’s need to be able to generate high-impact success across the entire organization. With these changes, we are making significant investments to develop innovative and game-changing solutions. I look forward to aiding in this effort as I lead the engineering team in our work to translate our executive vision into a technical roadmap,” said Vierck.
Puri, a former senior program manager for SharePoint at Microsoft, joined KnowledgeLake in January 2013 as the director of product management, and has since transitioned to the role of vice president of cloud platform research and development. Led by Puri, KnowledgeLake’s cloud platform department champions KnowledgeLake’s global research and development resources to provide cohesive cloud-based document management solutions that bridge scanning, mobile and workstation devices with distributed internet services. Puri brings more than 15 years of product development experience and more than ten years of deep experience with the SharePoint platform. At Microsoft, he was a part of the last three SharePoint releases, owning different areas such as programmability and extensibility, ECM, Workflow, FAST and Search.
“The success of the cloud platform team will be driven by our most valuable asset: internationally distributed teams of employees and partners whose diverse backgrounds, strengths and experiences will drive innovation. I am honored to have been selected to lead the company’s growth into new pursuits, and work alongside an outstanding team of visionaries, engineers and technology professionals,” said Puri.
