Kohler Highlights Social and Environmental Innovations at 2018 Greenbuild
Plumbing leader to host Education Lounge for CEU workshops addressing sustainability solutions
KOHLER, Wis., Nov. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Kohler Co., a global leader in the design and innovation of kitchen and bathroom products, returns to Greenbuild International Conference and Expo in Chicago to share the latest initiatives in manufacturing waste reduction, global safe water and sanitation, and product disclosures and transparency.
A 2018 platinum sponsor, Kohler will have informational exhibits at the conference, including two individual kiosks addressing the company's WasteLAB and "Safe Water. For All" initiatives. Positioned outside conference rooms in McCormick Place concourses, the kiosks are comprised of compelling storytelling, visuals and video as a means to educate attendees on Kohler's approach to finding new, productive uses for manufacturing byproducts and its commitment to delivering safe water to communities around the world. In addition to the kiosks, a dedicated Educational Lounge will feature informational displays and products related to Kohler's work in the sustainability space, including products with Declare product material health labels and Environmental Product Declarations – part of the company's product transparency program.
Several Kohler subject matter experts will also lead continuing education workshops (CEUs) on a variety of topics, including:

- Gracious Sanitation for All: An Innovation for Good Design Charrette
All sessions will take place on Nov. 14-15 at Kohler's Education Lounge (booth #1303). Attendees will earn credits from GBCI and AIA, as part of the organizations' recognition of excellence in green business industry performance. Ed Del Grande, Master Plumber, LEED Green Associate and Kohler spokesman, will also be onsite to provide attendees with insights from a trade industry perspective.
