KORT Physical Therapy Clinics Making a Difference in their Local Communities
(PRWEB) January 02, 2014 -- Making a Difference in the Community
This holiday season KORT Physical Therapy clinics throughout Kentuckiana gave a helping hand to local charities. KORT Clinics participated in the "Making a Difference" initiative, a company-wide program encouraging community outreach. Each KORT clinic chose a local organization including Sunrise Children Services (Mt. Washington), Center for Women and Families (Louisville), Wayside Christian Mission (Louisville), Nathaniel Mission (Nicholasville) and St. Joseph Peace Mission (Owensboro), just to name a few, and volunteered time and resources.
Many clinics involved their patients and collected food, clothing and toys for distribution to needy families, and wrote cards and letters to military service men and women overseas. Through this collaborative effort, they were able to make the holidays a little brighter and make a real difference in their communities.
