“Celebrating twenty years as a real estate professional is more than just an anniversary for me,” Kristy said. “I love working in real estate and am proud of where I am today. I literally went from the depths of despair, to being a mega million dollar real estate producer. I learned the top-notch negotiating skills I have today, and found a way to use them for my clients and have been doing so for the last twenty years. I survived and succeeded. ”
Twenty-four years ago, Kristy’s perfect life with her husband and their two boys, came to a screeching halt. Her husband, Tom was in a horrible accident that left him unable to walk, feed himself, talk, and control any bodily functions. At the time, Kristy’s boys were seven and eleven. “It was touch and go for weeks,” Kristy said. “The neurosurgeon at the hospital even told me to move on with my life, as there were worse things than death. But, I had taken my vows seriously and my parents had always taught me to do the best job I could and I wasn’t about to give up on my husband. Days turned into months, and months turned into years, which were filled with determination, which simply can’t be described.”
After taking her husband home and taking care of him for three years, he passed, leaving her with two boys, unsurmountable medical bills, and just social security to live on. She noted, “I became a top-notch negotiator, having to negotiate all of these bills down. I needed a career where I could put these new skills to use and the answer was real estate. What I use in my business today came from my desperation to survive back then.” During her twenty years as a real estate professional, Davis said that she has discovered that buying or selling a home can be one of the biggest business transactions anyone may ever make.
Sporre Davis handles all aspects of real estate, from vacant lots to homes upwards of a million dollars. Her son and now husband has also joined her team, making it a family affair. “My struggles, positive attitude, determination, patience, and 'roll with the punches' style has given me a track record of success and has made me a multi-million dollar producer."
Her advice as a twenty year veteran in the real estate industry: “Don't hire a company. Hire a person. Select a realtor that you can trust, and who will work hard for you. It’s the agent, not the company that makes the difference.”
Throughout Kristy’s 20 year career she has earned numerous awards, attaining the highest level in many categories. She has achieved the well deserved title of a “Mega Million Dollar Producer”.
“Kristy is admired and appreciated by our entire office for her success and professionalism,” said Davis’ Broker, Geoff Boyle. “She always has time for a kind word and is a great communicator. We feel privileged to have Kristy on our team.”
