L.L.Bean Serves Up Summer in the Park with Free Outdoor Events Beginning July 4
FREEPORT, Maine (PRWEB) July 02, 2019 -- Summer is short, but it’s sweeter when friends and family savor moments outdoors together. Maine-based outdoor retailer L.L.Bean is ready to get you outdoors this summer with a season full of free activities at its flagship retail campus in Freeport. July 4th launches L.L.Bean’s annual Summer in the Park presented by Mastercard, featuring free events for the whole family, from outdoor yoga every weekday morning, to kids’ story times, outdoor movie nights, and outdoor concerts.
Concerts
L.L.Bean’s free concert series begins on Thursday, July 4, at 7:30 with The War And Treaty on stage at Discovery Park, followed by fireworks at 9:00 p.m.

Guests are invited to bring camp chairs for concert seating and may set up chairs beginning at 6:00 a.m. the day of the concert.
Yoga in the Park
Free outdoor yoga led by Freeport Yoga Company will be offered every weekday morning 8:00-9:00 a.m. in Discovery Park. All levels are welcome.
Food, Fun and Films
Free outdoor movies will be shown each Friday, beginning July 5, at dusk. Food trucks arrive at 6:00 p.m. with backyard games and family fun before the film.

Maine Maker Nights
Every Wednesday, beginning July 10, at 6:00 p.m., L.L.Bean will host Maine artisans from chefs to candlemakers for Maine Makers Night. Guests are invited to learn new skills, samples delicious treats, or even bring home a new work of art.
Kids’ Tent Tales
Thursday nights, beginning July 11, at 6:00 p.m., kids are invited to L.L.Bean’s backyard Tent Tales to hear stories, make crafts, and enjoy s’mores.
