The police officers in the city of LaGrange, Indiana will be receiving brand new bullet proof vests by the end of the year, courtesy of a generous donation from Lagrange Country Dodge. This donation will replace the old bullet proof vests which are to set to expire at end of December.
LaGrange Country Dodge continues to support local law enforcement by providing tools that the officers need to do their job. Earlier this year LaGrange Country Dodge help the Lagrange County Sheriff’s Department purchase a new police dog.

On Monday, October 24, 2016, LaGrange Police Town Marshall and nine of the LaGrange Police department visited the offices of LaGrange Country Dodge to thank Mark Hergert and Doug Wickstrom and the employees of LaGrange Country Dodge for their donation. General Manager of LaGrange Country Dodge Mark Hergert commented on why the dealership supports law enforcement locally.
“These men and women in law enforcement have a hard-enough job dealing with multiple situations every day,” says Hergert. “The least we can do as a good neighbor is to make sure they are well protected so there is less chance for injury or worse. We encourage all of our local businesses and citizens to support the police and other first responders.”
