LaGrange Country Dodge Sponsors Annual Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing
LaGrange, IN (PRWEB) August 23, 2016 -- On Friday, September 9th, 2016, Cedar Lake Golf Course welcomed teams competing in the 18th Annual LaGrange County Chamber Of Commerce Golf Classic to their grounds. This yearly scramble-style golf tournament is one of many events held throughout the year by the Chamber to promote local businesses and to help entrepreneurs network with each other in an effort to strengthen the local economy. Business owners and guests formed 4-person teams, with shotgun play beginning at 9:00AM.
LaGrange Country Dodge joined as a sponsor for the Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic, donating “hole-in-one” prizes for two of the par-3 holes on the course. The prize for one hole was a new vehicle, with the choice of either a Jeep Renegade or a Chrysler 200. The other prize was airfare for two anywhere in the continental United States.
The LaGrange County Chamber of Commerce focuses on connecting area business leaders seeking to stimulate the local economy and increase prosperity in the region. With monthly luncheons and other functions for Chamber members and guests, LaGrange business owners and the local workforce are able to form relationships that will strengthen the financial foundation of the area, which benefits everyone - employers, employees, consumers, and producers alike.
Since its recent reopening under new management and ownership, LaGrange Country Dodge has become a valuable member of the region’s business community, taking on civic responsibilities in addition to supporting the Chamber of Commerce. Through community outreach efforts and support of local law enforcement, the dealership has already had a strong positive impact in the area. Those efforts include concert ticket giveaways for the recent Kenny Chesney and the upcoming Luke Bryan concerts, both held at Detroit’s Ford Field, hosting a community presentation on the rising heroin epidemic in our nation, and a $6,000 donation to the local Sheriff’s Department that will go toward a new drug detection search dog for the LaGrange Sheriff K9 Unit.
