We feel both obligated and privileged to help those in our community who are living with the daily struggles of abuse, addiction and homelessness...It’s going to be a long, cold winter, and we hope the community rallies behind our most vulnerable members.
Lake Orion, MI (PRWEB) January 15, 2016
The caring team at Mlynarek Insurance Agencies launches another charity campaign as part of their ongoing community involvement program in Lake Orion, Rochester Hills and communities surrounding Detroit. Turning their efforts to helping the area’s homeless and disadvantaged families this winter by partnering with Grace Centers of Hope, donations are now being accepted at: https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/gracecentersofhope.
Grace Centers of Hope (GCH), established in 1942, has grown and evolved into the oldest and largest faith-based outreach to homeless and disadvantaged families and individuals. GCH operates as a committed community of faith, reaching out to people whose lives have been damaged by addiction and self-destructive behavior. Providing a full recovery and rehabilitation campus for homeless men, women and children who have been abused and/or addicted to drugs or alcohol, they rely on love, accountability, employment and a sense of community to help their residents re-establish stable, productive lives as contributing members of society.
“This cause is very dear to my team,” stated Kevin Mlynarek, owner of Mlynarek Insurance Agencies. “We feel both obligated and privileged to help those in our community who are living with the daily struggles of abuse, addiction and homelessness, especially now. It’s going to be a long, cold winter, and we hope the community rallies behind our most vulnerable members with this campaign for GCH.”
Mlynarek Insurance hopes to bring greater awareness and support for GCH by mobilizing their own network of personal and professional contacts from their three area locations to help spread the word about the campaign for Grace Centers of Hope. The agency’s team has set a fundraising goal of $500, and has pledged to donate $10 for each and every referral they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary. The agency has also featured the initiative in their monthly magazine, which is delivered to thousands of households in the greater Detroit area. The ongoing Community Program initiated by the agency will continue to highlight and support people in need in the local community. Mlynarek has promised to debut a new campaign every two to three months, in collaboration with community members and local nonprofits.
