Outdoor Movie and Food Truck Event Kicks Off in Santa Monica on May 10
Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) May 06, 2014 -- Eat|See|Hear, LA’s premier outdoor movie, food truck and music events series, is launching its 2014 season in Santa Monica, CA on Saturday, May 10. Eat|See|Hear will screen the film 500 Days of Summer and feature live music from an up-and-coming Los Angeles band and an array of LA’s favorite food trucks. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., music will begin at 7 p.m. and the movie will start at 8:30 p.m.
The inaugural event will be held at Santa Monica High School’s Memorial Greek Amphitheater located at 601 Pico Blvd. Parking is available across the street in the Civic Center parking structure (located at 333 Civic Center Dr.). There is additional parking available on the street, but Eat|See|Hear cautions attendees to pay attention to posted signs to avoid a ticket or being towed. The entrance to the event is on 4th Street between the school’s athletic track and the Double Tree Hotel. There is also ample bike parking for those opting to arrive on two wheels.
Food trucks in attendance at the kickoff event include The Urban Oven, Me So Hungry, Jogasaki, Lobos Truck, Hurricane Kitchen, Rosa’s Bella Cucina, Postcards CAS, Coolhaus, Brasil Kiss and B Sweet Mobile. The band performing will be Derde Verde. The event is dog-friendly and all four-legged friends will be treated to a complimentary biscuit at the door. 500 Days of Summer is rated PG13 and stars Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
