LA’s premier outdoor movie in the park event series Eat|See|Hear is co-hosting a special event in Will Rogers State Park on Saturday, September 6. The event will include the annual Los Angeles-area Strut Your Mutt fundraiser walk benefiting Best Friends Animal Society-Los Angeles. Doors and registration for Strut Your Mutt open at 3:30 p.m. and the walk will begin at 5 p.m. Once walkers are done, they can explore the festival and then registered walkers can make their way to the Eat|See|Hear portion of the event starting at 5:30 p.m. The evening will conclude with a screening of the film “Dirty Dancing” starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.
Strut Your Mutt is an annual fundraiser walk where dogs and their families can leisurely walk or participate in a fun run while raising awareness of homeless pets and fundraising to support adoption and spay and neuter programs across the country.
All Eat|See|Hear events are dog friendly, and Eat|See|Hear has supported Best Friends Animal Society-Los Angeles with several special events throughout the season including a Rent-a-Mutt program on June 28 and a donation drive on July 12.
“We love dogs and enjoy meeting new furry friends at all of our events,” said Sharon Sperber, executive producer of Eat|See|Hear. “We are proud to support our local chapter of Best Friends Animal Society and we are looking forward to seeing all of the dogs that will join us on Saturday to strut for such a great cause.”
Tickets are required to attend Eat|See|Hear’s movie event and can be purchased in advance online. Those interested in the Strut Your Mutt walk may register at strutyourmutt.org/LA2014 and registration includes free admission to Eat|See|Hear.
