“This year, Larger than Life – L.A. Family is celebrating its Bar-Mitzvah, marking thirteen years of giving.”
Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) June 14, 2016
Larger than Life is hosting its Annual Gala on September 15, 2016. The Gala, headlined by Sarit Hadad and her 7 Musicians, celebrates 13 years of the Larger Than Life – L.A. Family organization. The Annual Gala is an opportunity for the supporters of the work of Larger Than Life to get together and celebrate their own contributions, while ensuring that the light of the organization will continue to shine for years to come.
The L.A. Family of Larger Than Life works to bring a healthy, normalizing atmosphere to the more than 400 children who are diagnosed with cancer each year in Israel. These kids face a life-threatening illness during their early years or at the time of their important transition to adulthood. They can become isolated from classmates, as treatment and care become the norm. Much of their time is spent in the sterile atmosphere of a hospital clinic. Without interaction with other children, the emotional stress can build to unbearable levels.
Each year, the Annual Gala is an opportunity to show the work Larger Than Life does to its biggest contributors. The organization works hard to support the recovery and development of these kids and teens, helping them grow into successful and productive adults. Guests will meet patients on the West Coast Dream Trip. This spirit-lifting two-week trip takes these brave kids around the city of LA, stopping at Disneyland, Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, partying on a yacht in Marina Del Rey, visiting Venice Beach, and even a flight over LA in a helicopter. They will be the guests of honor at the gala, sharing a family atmosphere amongst like-minded and philanthropic families who care about their future. “We at Larger than Life leave politics to the politicians. We choose to save lives of children,” says Michelle Eskinazi, one of the organization’s most dedicated volunteers, “This year, Larger than Life – L.A. Family is celebrating its Bar-Mitzvah, marking thirteen years of giving.”
The Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood is the perfect setting for the event, which will feature one of Israel’s best female singers. The event will be catered by Wolfgang Puck, who was inducted into the Culinary Hall of Fame in 2013. Tickets start at $350 per seat, and proceeds go to benefit Larger Than Life’s continued mission to support the healing and well-being of child cancer patients in Israel.
About Larger Than Life – L.A. Family

The organization raises funds and directly contributes with planned events, like the West Coast Trip and the Annual Gala.
