This weatherproof LED light fixture features powder coated copper free aluminum alloy construction, corrosion resistant aluminum reflectors with high gloss reflective finish, and a pair of high output two foot long LED T style lamp tubes. The lens door is secured in place with four zinc coated draw latches, and the entire fixture is UL 595- 1598A outdoor marine type rated for salt water conditions. This fixture produces approximately 2,700 lumens of light output with a 5300k color temperature, making it ideal for areas where clean and bright white light is preferred over the yellowish light of typical incandescent fixtures. The LED tubes have a 50,000 hour life rating, twice that of standard T8 fluorescent tubes, and are highly resistant to the damaging effects of impacts and vibrations. This fixture is also fitted with a pair of swiveling bracket mounts that allow operators to adjust the angle of the fixture over 90 degrees of movement for more precise control of where the light is directed. This explosion proof fixture provides added reliability and failsafe operation through the addition of a built in battery back system. This system is fully automatic, and when power to the fixture is unnaturally cut off, the unit switches to its battery backup to provide continued operation for up to 90 minutes. Once power is restored, the unit automatically recharges the onboard batteries and readies the system for the next time it is needed.
