The solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional fluorescent lighting.

The EPL-48-4L-ITG-LED from Larson Electronics is a four foot, four lamp integrated LED light fixture that is ideal for operators seeking a top quality explosion proof LED light that will reduce operating costs, improve lighting quality and reduce downtime incurred from frequent servicing intervals. This fixture is equipped with a specially designed integrated LED assembly that produces 16,000 lumens of light. This four lamp explosion proof LED linear fixture is lighter in weight and produces more light than traditional explosion proof fluorescent fixtures. The four foot long LED tube design emitters included with this unit are rated at 50,000 hours of service life, which is over twice as long as standard T5HO bulbs. Each lamp is individually dimmable for maximum control over illumination levels. This fixture carries a T6 temperature rating and is approved for Class 1 Division 1, Groups C and D, Class 1 Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D, and Class 2, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G environments where flammable or combustible gases, vapors, dusts, and flying fibers exist or stand the potential to exist.

Unless otherwise specified, this fixture is surface mounted via Unistrut brackets. The Unistrut is attached to our standard L-bracket mounts. A simple through bolt can be used to secure the light to the surface. A single junction box at one end of the light is provided for the electrical connection. This fixture can also be pendant mounted suspended by rigid pipe. Each fixture features a ½” NPT junction box on one end, and a ½” NPT bracket on the other end of the fixture. Operators bring rigid pipe down to the threaded mounting hubs. The wiring is fed down through the pipe to the junction box and tied in to the fixture’s lead wires, completing the electrical connection. A threaded mounting bracket provides support for the opposite end of the fixture. This fixture is universal voltage and operates on any voltage from 120 to 277 volts AC. This fixture is also available in a 12/24 volt DC configuration for low voltage applications.
