Lexington Christian Academy’s Strong Representation Continues in the 2015 National Merit Program
(PRWEB) October 10, 2014 -- Three Lexington Christian Academy (Lexington, MA) students have been named as Commended Students in the 2015 National Merit Scholarship Program. These high ranking seniors are: Oluwadara Faleye, son of Dr. and Mrs Olubunmi Faleye, of Stoneham, MA; Stephen Macomber, son of Mr. Craig Macomber and Dr. Esther Sreter, of Stoneham, MA; and Willis Stinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Stinson, of Lexington, MA.
“I am exceedingly proud of these young men,” says Timothy Russell, LCA’s Head of School. “Their scholarship represents the kind that top colleges across the country have come to expect of LCA students.”
These LCA seniors are among the 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation who are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. This distinction means they have placed among the top five percent of the more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2015 competition.
“These students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success,” commented a spokesperson for NMSC. “They represent a valuable national resource. We hope that this recognition will help broaden their educational opportunities and encourage them as they continue their pursuit of academic success.”
Lexington Christian Academy is an independent college preparatory school that exists to educate young men and women in the arts and sciences in the context of a complete commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
