2014 Learning! 100 Award

Year after year, the Learning! 100 award winners have exemplified the very best qualities of leadership and excellence that have propelled the world of learning to new heights, and we expect the same to be true of our 2014 winners.

Elearning! Media Group, publishers of Elearning! and Government Elearning! magazines, announced the call for applications today for the Learning! 100 Award program. The Learning! 100 Award will recognize 100 organizations for their best-in-class learning and development programs, embraced by an integrated learning culture that creates outstanding organizational performance. This research-based program will honor organizations of all sizes, including non-profit, for-profit and government and educational institutions.

Since 2011, the Learning! 100 Award has honored Cisco, Hertz, SuccessFactors, Telus Communications, LeapFrog, The Juilliard School, the Defense Acquisition University, Scripps Health, the American Heart Association, and the Department of Veterans Affairs, among others.

“Our goal is to host an awards program that honors excellence, and also offers participants the opportunity to improve their organizations going forward,” reports Catherine Upton, Group Publisher, Elearning! Media Group. “Year after year, the Learning! 100 award winners have exemplified the very best qualities of leadership and excellence that have propelled the world of learning to new heights, and we expect the same to be true of our 2014 winners.”

The Learning! 100 Award program has a solid research-based approach that offers firms a level playing field despite size, as well as post-awards learning opportunities to improve firm rankings in subsequent years. The Learning! 100 applicants will be evaluated across multiple criterion, including overall organizational performance, EMG’s Learning Culture Index, Collaborative Shift’s Collaboration Index, and the learning program’s impact. Each submission will receive a rating for each section, and scores will be totaled to determine the final Learning! 100 winners and ranking.

We are pleased to announce the following timetable for the 2014 Learning! 100 Awards:

  •     Nov 1, 2013 - Applications Open
  •     Feb 15, 2014 - Applications Close
  •     April 1, 2014 - Finalists selected & notified
  •     August 26, 2014 - Learning! 100 Awards Dinner at The Enterprise Learning! Conference
  •     Aug/Sept 2014 - Learning! 100 Awards Issue of Elearning!
  •     Learning! 100 Web Seminar Series - Fall '14 - Sum '15
  •     Learning! 100 Presentations at Enterprise Learning! Events 2014/15

Who Should Apply

Corporate, government and non-profit organizations are eligible. We welcome applications from organizations of all sizes, across industries, around the world. Vendors and PR representatives may submit applications on behalf of their clients. Application fee is waived for all public sector applicants.

There are four sub-categories for award consideration: Culture, Innovation, Collaboration, and Performance. Each applicant will be scored and ranked based upon the research-based criteria. Each applicant will receive rating and ranking details after winners are announced.
