The First Annual Legends Beyond Gala Slated for September 19 to Benefit Breast Cancer in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 16, 2013 -- Celebrity Beverly Hills Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Raj has been invited to be the Event Coordinator for the First Annual Legends Beyond Gala to benefit breast cancer. The Gala, which takes place on September 19, 2013, promises to be a star studded, red carpet event at a private estate located in the lavish hills above Sunset Strip.
The star power at the Music & Moguls Gala includes host Vivica Fox, Charlie Sheen, Richard Simmons, Howard McCrary, and a slew of Award Winning musicians and Celebrity Guests.
The Charity Gala will donate 50% of ALL proceeds to the Los Angeles Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The branch is helping to find a cure from breast cancer and through events such as the Music & Moguls Gala has been able to invest over $10 million in community breast health programs.
In addition to the charitable benefit of the event, the Gala will celebrate legendary Platinum Recording Artist Freda Payne’s birthday and her newest album release as well. Freda Payne will be receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award along with musician Howard McCrary. Charlie Sheen will receive a philanthropic Humanitarian Award.
The theme for the Gala will be circa 1920’s vintage glamour. There will be multiple live musical performances, a silent auction and a Celebrity Fashion Show. Executive Chef Charles Eugene of Spicy Charlie’s will provide the evening’s cuisine. Celebrity guests that have been invited include Toni Braxton, Jamie Foxx, Nicole Kidman, Slash, Kevin Hart, Sisqo, Victoria Strauss, Denise Richards, Paris Hilton, Berry Gordy Jr, Lionel Richie, Rodney Peete, Smokey Robinson, Quincy Jones and many more.
