Norwood Insurance Group to Launch Community-Wide Charity Drive to Support Local Youngster Recently Diagnosed with Leukemia
Irving, TX (PRWEB) March 25, 2016 -- Norwood Insurance Group, a Dallas County insurance firm that provides coverage to families and businesses across eastern Texas, is announcing a grassroots charity effort to help provide support and assistance to the family of a young boy struggling against cancer.
In a recent visit to the hospital, Mason was McGaughey was diagnosed with leukemia. The McGaughey family now faces not only the harrowing emotional stress of helping their child fight for his life, but also the mounting medical expenses that accompany his ongoing treatment.
Wes Norwood, founder and manager of Norwood Insurance Group, is confident that the charity drive will galvanize the community and provide much-needed support to the McGaughey family. “Here in Texas, we’re all about family, and this is an opportunity for everyone in our community to help a local family in need,” explains Norwood.
