STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (PRWEB) August 14, 2019
The National Athletic and Professional Success Academy (NAPSA) is offering a uniquely invaluable program especially designed for former professional football players to help them discover, reveal, and translate the core competencies that they used building their success on the field into skill sets that will help them build success in their careers and lives after football. NAPSA’s next Intensive Experience™ will be held September 30th to October 2nd on the Penn State University Park campus.
Leveraging Unique NFL Work Competencies: A Penn State & NAPSA Post-Football Training Camp™ provides an accelerated transition to gainful employment and career options. This new and innovative three-month foundational program (with 3 days of in-residence engagement at Penn State University Park) is based on NAPSA's proven High Impact Performance (HIP) Curriculum™. Sessions reveal and develop the competencies (skills and knowledge) to help participants excel in other professional competitive environments.
Super Bowl XLVIII Champion and NAPSA Advisory Board member, Michael Robinson said, "NAPSA has figured out a new and innovative way to leverage your football experience—all of the preparation, practice, and performance that we put into football can accelerate your personal and professional development beyond the game. I helped design the NAPSA Program with business leaders, athletes, and academics to meet our needs. There is nothing else like this out there."
The upcoming Intensive Experience™ is NAPSA’s third session and alumni from the program have endorsed the strength of the program and the impact it has had in their own lives.
“I can’t begin to express how uplifting, empowering, and valuable these three days were for me,” former Buffalo Bill, Bryan Scott said.
Former Indianapolis Colt, Dominic Austin stated, “NAPSA was a redefining moment that helped me take the next step for the better in all aspects of my life.”
“NAPSA led to a new and better position at work, it renewed my confidence and made me look differently at who I am and what I can do. NAPSA gave me the tools and motivation,” former Los Angeles Ram, Brad Fichtel said.
The program is ideal for current and former NFL athletes and coaches. This intensive development program transforms conventional paradigms regarding the preparation, perception, and value of elite athletes and performers.
“We created NAPSA to provide something that isn’t available anywhere else—a unique balance of personal and professional coaching to help unlock potential and leverage hidden, undervalued, and overlooked skills, knowledge, and performance track records developed over the course of our clients’ football careers,” explained Brad Mitchell, Founder and Board Chairman of NAPSA. “Our graduates are professionals who have already proven themselves champions on the field—we work with them to bring out the same championship-level performance in business, continuing their education, or wherever they are focusing their massive talents and abilities in their post-football lives.”
“We are excited to help propel these elite athletes forward and change the trajectory of their post-football lives for the better through our relationship with NAPSA,” added Dr. Shawn Clark, Director of Penn State’s Farrell Center for Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Seating for the September 30th to October 2nd Intensive Experience™ is limited, with only 15 participants per class. Interested former professional football players should register today. To inquire or register, contact Sam Jobson at sam.jobson(at)napsacademy.org or visit the NAPSA website.
