Sussex based Lewes SEO.com launches new responsive website
(PRWEB) June 13, 2014 -- Long standing Sussex web design experts, Lewes SEO are proud to announce the launch of their new website. Based on clean minimalist lines, readable fonts, simple calls to action and a completely adaptive structure, the website is a great example of the current trend in digital design towards absolute simplicity. With a lightning fast page load time, Schema markup, and making use of Envato’s cutting edge X theme, it’s an exciting update.
‘We feel that the web’s drowning in its own complexity,’ lead design James Avery commented. ‘Here at Lewes SEO we’re aiming to help reverse that trend by creating designs which allow the eye to rest, which allow clear navigation, which facilitate the basic exchange of information that underpins the whole nature of the internet.’
Around since the early days of the web, Lewes SEO was founded in the historic market town of Lewes in East Sussex, not far from the digital hub of Brighton. With a small team of six, Lewes focuses on organic SEO, online strategy, content marketing, pay per click management, and recently a foray into video seeding. Serving the digital community of Sussex, as well as with national and international clients, Lewes SEO is proud to be part of the exciting digital mecca which Britain’s south east, focused in Brighton, has become.
‘Brighton is undoubtedly now the creative hub of the UK, especially where digital design and search goes.’ Avery commented. ‘Every September, there’s the Brighton digital festival, then there’s the Brighton SEO conference, and recently huge multinationals like Disney have started to run some of their digital operations from here. The agencies here, of which Lewes SEO is one, are proud to be able to compete with any from London or internationally, with the quality of our work.’
Lewes SEO run campaigns ranging from high street brands through to a number of local businesses in the Susses area, from Hayward’s Heath, Eastbourne, Hove and Tonbridge Wells. ‘Last year our most exciting campaign was for a leading airline,’ Avery said. ‘We achieved excellent results organically over four different geographical areas. We love that kind of work, but we’re also happy helping a local restaurant excel on the organic SEO listings. The web is a great facilitator: when run well a site can make a business soar. Run badly it can disappear. The challenge of our work is very much to guide businesses through the sometimes confusing labyrinth of the internet and help them find traction. In an increasingly competitive marketplace it can be a challenge.’
‘There’s no doubt that the field of web design is radically changing’ Avery told Web Designz magazine recently. ‘These new hybrid responsive themes are cleaning out the bottom end of the market and empowering people to find a level of functionality at a fraction of the cost. We’re finding that our projects are now divided between small jobs, and large ones, there’s little middle ground now. It’s great for the web at large, because the bar is getting raised substantially. However, it can also mean that a lot of people are working on a site which looks very similar unless subtle design flourishes are put to work. We’re excited by both project, and hope Lewes SEO will be designing websites in Sussex for a long time to come.’
